The 2010 Trailable Yacht Festival will be held in Docklands.  You can berth your boat with a view of a spectacular skyline, be moments away from a vast array of Melbourne’s finest food and enjoy the variety of activities on offer in this fresh exciting precinct.

From Friday to Sunday 5-7 November, the weekend after the world famous Melbourne Cup, Docklands Yacht Club invites you to come and enjoy the 6th Trailable Yacht Festival in the city – at the height of Melbourne’s Spring Racing Carnival.

If you can’t fit in the full three day program, that’s okay – join in when you can.  On the other hand, why not book some additional nights berthed at Waterfront City and enjoy all that Melbourne has to offer during its most vibrant time of the year.

Plans for the weekend include……..

·      Friday morning: Launch your boat at The Warmies or St Kilda Marina and make a relaxed passage up the river to the Waterfront City Marina

·      Friday afternoon: Relaxing at the dock, stroll into the city, take in a tour of Etihad Stadium or visit the Fox Motor Museum, Melbourne Aquarium or the National Gallery of Victoria, shop at Harbourtown or go Ice Skating!

·      Friday evening: Happy hour on the dock followed by dinner at New Quay.

·      Saturday morning: Breakfast at Waterfront City with guest speakers followed by boat judging at the marina.

·      Saturday afternoon: Walking tour of Docklands finishing off with a visit to the Wooden Boat Centre and the Alma Doepel restoration project.

·      Saturday night: Festival Dinner at New Quay.

·      Sunday morning: Join in the National Go Sailing Day celebrations at Docklands Yacht Club and enjoy a sandwich lunch before returning downriver.
